It's sad that it took Grudz going down for Butler to get some time at 1B. He's been much better than I thought he'd be. Yesterday he made a nice tag play on an off-target throw from Aviles.

hes been playing good since the all star break, so really it was before grudz got hurt

?? Grudz going down has nothing to do with Butler at first. It's all about Guillen not being able to play in the field.
