Predatory Police
 

Just around the corner from my house they have a pedestrian walk way. They placed this thing next to no lights in a 40 MPH zone. If you don't live close you would never even notice it. The fine for any violation is $1,000. Today they had several motorcycle police out there sending pedestrians they brought with them to these two sections. I drove by it at 7 AM and they had 4 cars pulled over. 7:30 3 more. 9 AM 3 more. How do you make 100k in few hours? Come to California we will show you.

How did you ascertain this?

I'm not following you. Is this a crosswalk where the speed limit drops substantially? Are they sending peds out into traffic?

Sounds like it might be a "stop for pedestrians in the crosswalk" type of deal. Could be wrong though.

You are so funny, you totally doubt everything I post. They had two different sections with the same pedestrians crossing the street each time I passed.

40 MPH with no pedtrian light or traffic lights. Yes it is very dangerous. They set it up that way to write tickets.

Sounds like a good job for those people doing "community Service". You know those scumbags that get in caught doing something but never really get in trouble!

What law did you break?

Someone needs to hit one of the "pedestrians" so the "pedestrian" can sue the PD and this will all stop.
