Will the Chiefs be bad enough that Clark Hunt will be bold enough for a housecleaning

Inspired by Deberg, the answer is sadly no. We will not get rid of Carl, Herm, Gun, or even Chan (the only one showing growth).

They never were going to be, not this year anyway. Herm and company had a free pass all along.

if only the only lower bowl had fans...... maybe.

when I saw "on TV" the stadium pretty full.... I thought, another week of Clark happy.

Although I always though they would be back next year, after competing in the last 4 games with all the young players and injuries everyone will be back next year.

Jack Harry disagrees
thread on second page probably

I'm convinced we could go 1-15 and nothing would happen.

The only thing that will bring on a wholesale houscleaning is a significant drop in the bottom line.
(IMO)
I'm sure C.H. would like for this team to be able to compete for and win the Superbowl but "our" team is "his" business. The Chiefs are first and foremost a tool he uses to make money. It's no different than any other financially succesful big business in this country. I doubt you'll find any CEO who would consider getting rid of all of the people holding the key positions in his company if they were able to keep the business finacially succesful. He might do a little tweaking with personnel if he thought it would make the product popular but there's no incentive to clean house.

doubt it

:(

I can live with keeping our business side(including Carl), buuut the football side of the front office needs some changes(including one of Carls job as GM).

and probably will

Chan will be fired. Everyone else retained. Carl gets an extension.... sounds about right... :BLVD:

DaneMcCloud 11-17-2008 12:44 AM

Absolutely not.

If you guys thought that Lamar was an absentee owner, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

Clark couldn't give three shits about the Chiefs.

Bank it.

RustShack 11-17-2008 12:47 AM

Just imagine who our GM will be after Carl steps down, one of Clarks gay soccer buddies who doesn't know anything about football? Its going to be a business man, not a football guy... and I really wouldn't doubt it if he was worse than Carl...

chiefs1111 11-17-2008 12:56 AM

seeing as how Clark doesn't give a crap about the team,no everyone will be back next year.. Only in KC can a GM who hasn't won a playoff game since 1994 still have his job and a coach who is what 1-18 now in his last 19 games keep his job... The only way this team will win Superbowl anytime soon is if Clark sells the team.....
