Is everyone forgetting what it was like this year BEFORE Thigpen?

Game ----- Pts , Opp, Def Rank

1st game - 10 pts @ Pats, 9th
2nd game - 8 pts Raiders, 23rd
3rd game - 14 pts @Atlanta, 11th
4th game - 33 pts Broncos, 27th
5th game - 0 pts panthers, 3rd
6th game - 10pts titans, 1st

12.5 ppg, 12.3 def avg rk

it looked like we would never score 100 pts this season

Thigpen becomes starter

7th game - 24 pts @jets, 16th
8th game - 27 pts buccs, 4th
9th game - 19 pts @chargers, 19th
10th game - 20 pts saints, 24th
11th game - 30 pts buffalo, 14th

24 ppg, 15 def avg rk

not bad for a guy who has only started 5 games in his life and who didn't face top competition in college.

He made mistakes today. He's not perfect. We just couldn't keep the Bills from capitalizing on them. We did score four TD's and a FG today.

Yeah, good point. Franklin is not the answer. I wish we used Cottam more; he's looked very good when he's thrown to.

Dartgod 11-23-2008 07:34 PM

I was at the game and didn't realize Bradley was hurt. What was the injury?

blueballs 11-23-2008 07:35 PM

Herm-
he's got a calf

Franklin keeps getting in strange situations
I advocate more passes thrown his way

Is it legal to have livestock within city limits?

How long till some Einstein comes back with it’s the spread not Thiggy?? Please if and team could double its points they would do whatever was necessary.

I'll bet his calf is swole.

Brock 11-23-2008 07:43 PM

As much slack as Croyle got around here, I'd think people would be real happy with what Thigpen did today.

KcMizzou 11-23-2008 07:43 PM

Thigpen didn't have a good day, but it's pretty clear that he's not the problem.

RustShack 11-23-2008 07:44 PM

Who was before Thigpen?

:)

EyePod 11-23-2008 07:45 PM

I know all you guys are Franklin fans cause of Mizzou, but I haven't seen anything really good from him. DBowe or Tony G would not have given up that INT, but Thiggy should know that and shouldn't make that throw.
