Looks like a deliberate terrorist attack.

Oh Christ... FBI reports a hijacking before the planes struck.

I saw one of them hit the tower on live television - it was a big passenger jet 737 possibly (twin turbine)

god . . . I hope those planes wern't full of passengers.

NEW YORK — Two airplanes have crashed into the World Trade Center, igniting a huge blaze in the world's third tallest buildings.


The crashes by two aircraft into each of the Twin Towers immediately raise concerns that terrorists have launched an attack on the tallest buildings in New York City.

Flames can be seen pouring out of each of the 110-story Twin Towers, and smoke is billowing from the roof.

More than 40,000 people work at the World Trade Center. The downtown Manhattan complex comprises two buildings, with more than 400 firms from over 25 countries. The complex is so big, it requires two postal zip codes.

More than 100,000 business and leisure visitors come to New York's Twin Towers each day.

Seeing the second plane hit, is just about the most disturbing thing I've ever seen.
The loss of innocent life makes me sick.
