I didn't catch the lady's name, but I think we have our first confirmed "personality" casuality. ABC just reported that a woman who reported for them regularly on the Condit B.S. was killed, and it sounded like she was one of the people who made a cell phone call reporting the plane as hijacked. I believe they also said she was the wife of the U.S. Solicitor General.

The first of many, I have a feeling. I've heard rumors of high-level folks being killed in the Pentagon.

Now they're reporting the President is leaving for DC (why the Secret Service is letting them report this is beyond me...).

AS reported on CBS by Laura Ingraham - it is Barbara Olsen, wife of Ted Olsen.

Ted is Solicitor General and was Counselor who argued before the SC on behalf of Bush in Bush v. Gore. She was a 'contributor' on Fox news. Also wrote a couple of the Hill/Bill exposes.

I also have been completely mystified at how they keep reporting where key people are and where they are going to be. Does no one have any common sense in these matters?

Regarding the sports world, they said one of the planes that hit the WTC had two scouts from the LA Kings (I believe that was the team they said). I cannot imagine the horror the people on those planes experienced.

Also, they said that Boomer Esiason's company office was located in the building, but luckily for them, no one had reported to work yet...

Trade center bldg #7 has now collapsed.

Trade Center building #7 just collapsed due to 'collateral damage' from the other 2. Score is currently Salami Ben Dover and his dancing catamites 3, Good Guys 0.

But it's going to be a long, long game.

What type of bldg. is #7? A skyscrpaer? How many stories?

Fox News just described it as a "much, much smaller" bldg than the twin towers. Didn't give the number of floors, called it a "midrise."

The pick I just saw looked like it was a red-colored building pretty close. Looked a little than half the size of the main towers, so it was probably a 50-story building.

The speculation is that everyone was probably safely evacuated from the building, but they dont' know for sure.

Interesting. Apparently a guy on a hijacked plane headed for Camp David used his cell phone to call authorities...

Damn! ABC has footage of the plane crashing into the second tower shot from the street - it showed the plane going right into the building, the explosion, and debris raining down on the street while the cameraman ran for his life. The most amazing, and horrible, footage I've seen yet.

Calling all donors........Especially O-neg......make an appointment to donate. My wife runs the apheresis dept here in the North Bay and sez folks are lined up to donate - a three hour wait. As a long time O-neg donor myself, I've never seen a response like this. Americans are pulling together like Pear Harbor just happened. But there could be a critical shortage real soon when the victims need emergency operations. It will be a logistical nightmare to get the blood to the victims. Everybody that is elegable - please make an appt to donate - America needs you now....

Andrea Mitchell is reporting gov't officials in possession of hard evidence of Ben Laden involvement. Eventual 'hit' on Afghanistan territory all but assured.

If true, I hope Afghanistan is glowing in nuclear color ASAP. We need to send a great big fuck you message to whoever did this and whoever might want to.
