American Terrorist Headed up Operation?
 

I believe this to be false, but we are all pointing fingers and saying we should bomb whoever did this. I agree strongly that whoever was in charge of this should get the ultimate punishment. Just think if this was a group of Americans, it would put a huge spin on this. We couldn't attack ourselves...could we :confused:

We cannot use military forces on our own people.

National Guard is exempt from that, however. We roll a few M1/A4s into their 'compounds' and wreak bloody havoc.

If this were another McVeigh-type incident, I'd be in favor of systematically executing all known militia members.

I mean, come on...would America REALLY miss these pieces of garbage?

I'm with you on that one Clint. Last I knew, most of these militia groups were dwindling majorly. It would be hard to believe that they could've pulled this off.

I hope that's not the case. I couldn't deal with another American freak group killing fellow Americans.

These terrorists were suicide bombers. That doesn't fit the profile of the militias. They would've parachute out before impact.

I remember when OK City happend, how everybody jumped on the bandwagon and assumed it was a mid-Eastern terrorist and it turned out to be Bubba. I really pray to God that is not the case this time, and I honestly don't believe it is. Yet it makes you wonder, the previous "worst case of terrorism" was indeed home grown.

Would find this highly unlikely, as paranoid as some of these groups are, they generally just want to get as far away from everyone else as possible. While I could seem some of them crazy enough to attack The Pentagon why the hell would they want to kill civilians in towers?

While I agree with the notion of not jumping to conclusions, it's awfully hard not to believe it wasn't associated with one of the classic terrorist groups from the middle east, simply because of the WTC and the previous targeting of that building in a terrorist bombing...

Only an American redneck would risk assembling a bomb capable of leveling damn near any building...and choose some piece of crap in OKLAHOMA CITY (I'm thinking OKC in an extreme southern accent).

Hell, a militia member probably would've flown between the 2 towers, sheared both wings off, and crashed harmlessly into the East River while clutching a Pabst Blue Ribbon to his chest!

There is 1 thing that's been bothering me, though.....
 

They seized control of not 1, but 4 jets with relative ease, probably on American soil, and no distress signals from the pilot/co-pilot.

Until that is clarified, we certainly can't discount any possibility, even Americans being involved.

Actually they would have chosen to attack the UN as there number one target, since they are their biggest fear.

CBS reported that Ms. Olsen called her husband from the plane, told him that the hijackers were using 'knife like instruments'. Anyone who's looked thru a Soldier of Fortune type magazine has seen 'resin' letter openers, made of plastic, not picked up on a metal detector, quite capable of poking into human flesh. These are deadly instruments, 2 hours of knife training with 'em and you could scare the bejayzus out of 'civilians'. Can't shave with one, but you could sure 'nuff make stewardess' or stewards' pay attention long enough to slip Habibi into the cockpit, point the plane at the target and start singing your death song. Long story short...if I wanted to take over a plane & wasn't interested in living thru it, I could do it, easy enough. If I had been taught that I'd go straight to heaven and get daily sexual favors from angels for my efforts...you do the math.
