My laptop just ate a DVD? WTF?

I was just putting a blank DVD in my laptop and....I opened the drive and it was just GONE. It's disappeared inside the innards of my frickin' laptop. WTF?

I guess I had it sort on top of the drive spindle, not pressed all the way down. There's a little slit on the side, I turned it upside down and shook it a bit but it's not coming out. Laptop is still fine. WTF? WTF? WTF?
