Bucs announce new defensive coordinator
The Bucs announced Thursday that Raheem Morris will take over as their defensive coordinator next season.
Blocking the highly coveted Morris from moving on elsewhere, and eliminating one potential landing spot for Rod Marinelli once he is fired in Detroit. Morris is one of the most well regarded young assistants in the game. He took over for Mike Tomlin as the Bucs' secondary coach in 2007 and immediately led Tampa to the NFL's No. 1 ranking in pass defense. This year, the Bucs are fifth in the league.
