Am I the only one who hates it when people call Thigpen "Thiggy"?
to my knowledge this is a internet thing and surely no one would refer to him as that in person.

It is very Buddy Bell-ish.
|
I call him T&T dynamite
|
No, you are not. But complaining about it won't stop anyone.
|
I call him Athelete but not a QB
|
I call him Napoleon Dynamite.
|
I don't have a problem with it. Football players get nicknames. IMO, Thiggy is a lot better than some of the nicknames other players have gotten.
And, if it were a one time meeting, I probably wouldn't say "Thiggy", it would probably be more of "um, uh, Mr Thigpen sir, would you mind signing this for me?", but if we had ongoing interaction, I probably would throw it out a time or two to see how he takes it. |

i am reasonably sure that quite a few people on this board have voiced their hatred for this nickname. so no, you are not the only one.

I call him "KC Future"
The spread is the bomb.........kill yourself |
It's fairly reeruned.
|
I think it's an immature name for an immature quarterback.
That being said, it sounds more like a nickname you'd give a female model, not an NFL QB. |
I call him Thigg Nasty.
|
No, I hate it too.
But I hate "Thigpin" even more. |
