WOBURN, Mass. – The half brother of comedian Dane Cook was in a Massachusetts court after he was accused of embezzling millions from the entertainer.

Darryl McCauley is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at Woburn District Court.

Prosecutors allege the 43-year-old McCauley stole millions from Cook while working as Cook's manager as part of the comedian's company, Great Dane Enterprises Inc.

They say McCauley transferred funds from Cook's business accounts to his personal accounts between July 2007 and December 2008. In one instance, investigators alleged that McCauley forged a $3 million check from Cook's account to himself.

The 36-year-old Cook's comedy album "Retaliation" went double platinum, and he has appeared in several films, including "My Best Friend's Girl" with Kate Hudson.

All that and Cook STILL isn't funny.

What a fuqin dirt bag. It's one thing when someone you don't rust steals from you. But when you give someone an opportunity, and then they steal from you? That's grounds for an ass whippin.

Are you serious? I have 'Harmful If Swallowed' and saw him on a Comedy Central special once. Those are some of the funniest standups I have seen in awhile.

I watched ring of fire or whatever it was right after I watched Kat Williams, and hardly laughed at Cook's schtick. I think Dane's earlier stuff was funny, but the newer stuff just isn't that great.

Dane's 15 minutes of fame ran out a couple of years ago.

I just hope his bro' blew all that dough on hookahs and hash 'cuz turnabout is definitely fair play.

I considered that with a girl recently.

So I gave her the benefit of the doubt, and let her borrow my Bill Hicks DVD. She said it wasn't nearly as funny. That's when I dumped her.

Dane...please...don't use that lame-ass line in your next tour! Just slowly put the mike down and then quickly run away from the stage...

Dane is what he is, he is going to get some hate, but as long as he makes people laugh that is his job. I made a choice not to be a comedy snob awhile ago. Even if the mfer has a six pack, doesn't actually have punchlines, etc. Try to have fun when you watch him, it's all cool. I am always going to side with the wierd, fat, ugly comics, ones that say crazy shit, because that is more my style, but I would give Cook a high five and hang out.

I just cannot imagine you can't notice someone stealing MILLIONS from you? It's not like he's freaking Bill Gates or something!?!?
