'09 Budgeting spreadsheet is here!

Some of you that's been following me & my blog know that I have a budgeting spreadsheet that I distribute every year for all to enjoy.

I've been using it since 2001 and have lived by it since it's inception. I've modified it along the way and the '09 version has some much appreciated features.

Please feel free to download the spreadsheet and if you like (or not) please support the site.
and Happy New Year!!!

Thanks! I think I will give it a try.

I have a spreadsheet that we have been using the past few years but I was just going to sit down today and figure out something different for the new year so this works great.

For those looking for some debt relief in 09 don't be afarid to checkout Daveramsey.com also. It really works, We are living proof!

Sorry....I know so many people swear by Dave Ramsey, but I'm not impressed. If the guy is sincerely interested in helping everyone then do it for free....no long books that cost $20 or seminars that cost $$'s.

Besides, he doesn't say anything that I didn't learn from my Grandpa or my best mentor. Neither of them charged me a dime....

Well some people need him just like religion. Some need it for comfort while everything is pretty much common sense.

He's changed my life for the better.

And I am cool with that....it's just not for me.

I just always wondered why if people are truly interested in helping others why they charge for services?

Dave Ramsey makes no apologies for being a businessman, and he shouldn't. It just so happens his business is helping people get out of debt and put their financial lives back on the right track. If he wasn't successful at doing this his business would die instead of continue to grow.

I have never bought anything from Dave Ramsey. His "baby steps" are available for free, and they are really all most people need. His show is also entertaining and inspiring, and costs me nothing.

True.
Besides... Isn't that what EVERY SALESMAN is in a nutshell? They help you and sale their services. He's capitalizing off of helping others. That such a bad thing

Bob Dole prefers to live his financial life according to Kige Ramsey

So...are you cool with Anthony Robbins too?

And can I assume that you are a Dave Ramsey disciple?

Not familiar with Anthony Robbins. I guess I am sort of a Dave Ramsey disciple. I only started listening to his show about mid last year, whenever Petro went to commercial, but his absolutist approach quickly helped me come to the conclusion that I never want to take on debt again, for anything. I had already moved in that direction, but since I started listening to his show it's become a core principle, and I have adjusted my behavior and financial planning based on Ramsey's ideals.

step one: don't spend $20.00 on a book
step two: use that 20.00 towards your debt
step three: you are 20.00 closer to being out of debt

Thanks.

Confused?: Now I've included an example spreadsheet for better understanding on how it actually works.

Please let me know if you still have questions.
