Video of US Airways Plane Ditching in Water, From Coast Guard Security Camera

Here's a video of the US Airways plane ditching into the water.

it's not the best but it's the only one I've seen so far.

It happens about 2:00 into the video and you see a splash on the left side of the video. The camera then zooms in.

Absolutely amazing. Seriously, the pilot dead-sticked that plane just 900ft above the Brooklyn Bridge before they got to the water and landed that plane softly in a tight wedge on the Hudson. Those passengers were lucky to have such a skilled pilot.

Nope...it was the George Washington Bridge...not the Brooklyn

Man, that's amazing. I expected much more water flying when he hit. He had to have flaps and slats set at their max and then tweaked them as he got close to the water. I'd like to shake that pilot's hand. He did one hell of a job.

Inside job. Birds did 9/11.

Craziness.

That pilot is friggin' amazing.

Amazing. They were lucky to have that pilot. Reerun would have taken the top of that bridge out.
