Clark found out through the interview process that Pioli had a picture of Len Dawson and the Chiefs "Choir boy" huddle from the 71 x-mas day game hanging in his house.

Scott said he saw it some years back and thought it was one of the greatest football photos he had ever. He said it took him about a year to track down the photographer to get a re-print made. Awesome :clap:

They both said maybe it was fate then that brought the two of them together in Kansas city.

Who says we are transitioning from the Tampa 2 and bucsification to a 3-4?

It just sounds to me like Pioli is being cool and calculated in his search for head coach. I don't think he is going to sign a new head coach until he finds the perfect one. He will just hold on to Edwards until that time. No reason to sign a head coach and then fire him a year later when a better prospect surfaces.

I was actually suprised. yeah it has some fluff too, but after I listened to it, I felt pretty good about Pioli and the coaching situation.

Classic Mitch moment...there were a couple of moments when I really thought he was going to jump over the table and group hug Clark and Scott...it looked like he was tearing up getting excited about the future.

I'm familiar with such a photo taken during Super Bowl IV but I don't think I've seen the photo Pioli has from 12/25/71. Anyone here familiar with this photo that might post it for others to see?
I was only 11 years old that day but I remember it vividly. I got the ass whipping of my life from my parents after I began cussing like a sailor and breaking everything I could get my hands on. I still consider it among the worst events of my childhood. I still think I would say some nasty things to Jan Stenerud if I ever met him. :mad:
But I'm better now... can't you tell? ;)
