Would Pioli trade for Anquan Boldin?

Thoughts? |
Wouldn't build around WRs at the expense of valuable draft picks.
And don't cite Moss. The Pats were/are loaded. |
I'd lean towards no. Moss doesn't really seem like a NE-type player, but the value was insanely good for him (4th round pick). We'd certainly have to give up more than that for Boldin.

I mean, if he could figure out a way to do it without doing it at the expense of other priorities, I think it would be a great move. But that would be the hard part, I guess. |
Given Boldin's theatrics on the sideline yesterday, not only would Pioli never acquire him, he'd cut his ass if he were on the team. There will be zero malcontents on the team, especially at the place we are in at the talent cycle.

How about this senario
Larry Johnson and a third round pick for Boldin would be a win-win situation for both teams. Maybe both players would have a better attitude and could make significant contributions to their new team. Pioli could make it happen.

What is it about wide receiver that makes it 50-50 they will be a head case?
I just don't get it.You would think cornerbacks out on a island need some of that in them. It just seems the the worst locker room cancers always seem to be wideouts. |

Boldin's not what I would call a malcontent. Moss was a bigger pain in the ass when he was with Minnesota. |

Look, if we were good, Pioli may indeed consider bringing in some guy that doesn't perfectly fit the mold, but right now? No way. |

You just knew when he was a raider he would do better ANYwhere else. |
Boldin showed his true colors yesterday on the sideline, and even after he game. I'd never want that wearing a Chiefs uniform.
|
Why trade for him? Isn't he a FA this year?
