any recommendation for a Portable tire air compressor?

something that can plug in at home but can also fit in your car truck and will inflate a tire while plugged into your cigarette lighter.

doesn't have to made of gold or anything ;)


just dependable and relatively fast for emergency purposes.

It's always been my experience that you have to choose between "portable" and "fast".

I use it to pump up all the kids' stuff. Little fuckers were killing my back.

Get a can of fixaflat. $2.99 at Wal Mart

Go to O'Reilly or to an ACE Hardware and get one. They're all about the same, anyway.

Sears makes a pretty good one under their "Craftsman" line. Should be around $30 and is actually pretty small and compact. It's got me out of more than one jam too so I'm happy to have it around.

They got them with a flashlight built in too.
