Gatorade Shower or No Gatorade Shower?
Better not do this again
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin has a message for his players: Don't give me a Gatorade shower if we win the Super Bowl. Defensive end Nick Eason and linebacker Arnold Harrison did it after the Conference Championship and Tomlin made sure to get a mental note of who did it. http://msn.foxsports.com/tennis/pgSt...sport=TENNIS&p Sounds like the guy isn't much fun. But has the "Shower" been played out or is it tradition? |
Nothing like a good old-fashioned jinx to kick off SB week.
|
About the most played out thing in sports. Never liked the gatorade bath thought it was stupid from the start.

I saw the replay of it a couple of times this week and thought Tomlin didn't look to happen when they done that. Guess I was right.

I like the shower. It's like a rite of passage for your franchise.
|
Doesn't some coach say every year "Don't dump the Gatorade on me." and then and then it happens anyways?
It's lame, old, tired, played out and,... not going anywhere for a long time. So I guess I'd better get used to it. :( |
Completely played out. The only way it would have any spontaneity at this point would be if some crazy coach grabbed the bucket, lifted it over his own head and dumped it on himself. Outside of that scenario, it is the least exciting celebration in football.
|
That'd be awesome if a coach would have someone dump the buckets over with about 2 mins to go if it was apparent they're going to win it.
|
Well, I guess out with the old, in with the new?
Pop shower! |
It's better than a golden shower.

I'm looking for the refs to cleanse the Steelers
of a recent Super Bowl past **** the ****ing refering interfering Squeeler scum |

I think it's fine for teams winning the super bowl, but people have started doing it for much lesser accomplishments, which I think is lame.
