Now that the HC is hired, it's time to turn our attention to the STC. Please post ALL discussions regarding the STC search here. And, NOTHING LESS will be tolerated! :evil:

We can't forget about Special Teams! It's 1/3 of the game!

Any suggestions for STC?

Special Teams is just ask important as offense and defense. I'm NOT kidding. I want to win a Super Bowl. We can't neglect Special Teams.

Any ST coach candidates that we should watch for? Maybe someone at the airport can watch for tail numbers?

If your offense and defense are good enough, you absolutely do not need special teams.

If you offense is good enough to run a 99 yard drive every time, your special teams don't matter.

If you can covert every 2pt coversion, you don't even need a keeker.

If your defense can stop the other team from any where on the field, your special teams don't matter.

Only teams who suck on offense or defense need special teams. Special teams are for the weak.

We need depth on offense and defense first, then having a good ST is just a given.

Coach Haley would disagree. He wants to coach all 3 phases of the game. A good Special Teams can be game changing.
