What's with the Thigpen fixation?
Now I fully admit it isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be on this forum but I've yet to figure out this fixation with him. It's really bad at some other unnamed forums..
I honestly have no way of comprehending what it's about. It's like everything people said about Croyle has now been lumped onto Thigpen. "Well um he's the guy we don't need another QB" The worst part is the people who don't want a QB this year then say well if Thigpen doesn't work out we can just take Bradford or McCoy, it's like peoples brains fell out. |
Seems you have the biggest Thigpen fixation of all.

I never in my life thought I'd see a portion of a fan base think a guy who had to run the spread who has awful feet a blah arm and shit accuracy was the future of the franchise. It's just not fathomable to me in any sort of logical way. |
NO DEEP BALL.

I just trust Pioli's judgment more so than anyone else on this board. I am not going to cry either way. If Pioli keeps him, I assume he sees promise in the boy, and I will support.

This thread does have a certain aura of irony to it. Wouldn't you say?

I think the Thigpen love is just a product of the QB phobia some fans have. Some people just expect perfection from QB prospects and are deathly afraid of drafting a QB high. No NFL prospect is perfect and if you are looking for an excuse not to draft a player, you are always going to find it.
