I see all of these posts by people saying if you draft this player that will lead to 8-8, 9-7 yada yada yada

But it seems to me you guys are forgetting that Carl is no longer here and we have a new GM and young HC that is building for a championship.

I know it has been a long time and we have all been conditioned on thinking we are building to mediocrity and just trying to fill seats.

That has all changed so we all have to adjust and all this true fan stuff is the old way of thinking.

Sorry I had to vent...

I'm with ya. I probably have a little more optimism than some others on this board but after seeing what Miami and Atlanta did last year, I think anything is possible.

If we do not win the Super Bowl next year I will be calling for The Todd's head on a stick!

I do too but I think people on here really think we are still trying to strive for mediocrity and just fill the stadium.

I used to think that too until this off-season. I now see Clark now as being very hungry to win a championship and build a championship type franchise.

I think he felt obligated to his father to keep Carl and that is probably the only reason why he lasted an extra year or so.

I don't take it personal I was just genuinely curious and I am sure in the hell not brilliant.

It just seems to me from what people have posted that we still have the same line of thinking when Carl was here. It is understandable we all lived through it and believed that they really only wanted to fill the stadium and were happy with 8-8, 9-7 type seasons.

I personally have a line of thinking that is not influenced by Carl Peterson or any other person atop the food chain at Arrowhead. I like a player because thats the player I like. Not because I want to be mediocre. I understand the insult your trying to level against those that disagree with you.It's all good.

But as I said before, if you cant even comprehend what people are saying, how the hell do you know what they are thinking?
