Why you probably like thread "Prefixes" a little, even if you hate them.
 

I caught myself about to mis-post a political thread here in the Lounge. The only thing that stopped me was the requirement to select a relevant topic.

It's all but impossible to mistakenly cross-post a thread in the Lounge from the DC.

I never cared much one way or the other about Prefixes, and generally I found it annoying to have to select one with each thread.

But after this, I'm a fan. It's worth the trouble, just for this, IMO.

Is this a ploy to get me to vote Libertarian???
