That was back before MTV died a horrible death ...

MTV dies a horrible death for us all at some point. It will die for the teenyboppers out there now, too, when some other type of music takes over, or reality shows are no longer popular. Maybe they'll even play music again, and the 8-year olds of today (ten years from now) will be like, "OH MAN! Put back on The Real World!!!"

Though IMO "120 minutes" was the peak of MTV greatness... But don't feel bad about MTV sucking now. MTV sucks for anyone who is age 22 or older. Its supposed to... I think it has to do with maturity

I loved it when the Black Crowes first hit on MTV; they were NOTHING like the rest of that horrid, 24/7 shit MTV played non-stop.

I was already so burnt out on Motley-clones that when Warrior Soul and Janes Addiction started getting some face time on 120 minutes and Headbangers Ball, all that shit was just dead to me.
