I'm typing this as he speaks. He says last night there was an agreed to trade with the Chiefs, but now there is another team jumping in trying to take him. He says, "it's a hairy situation." The other team is not named. Nothing about compensation for the trade. He says he still expects him to go to the Chiefs. He says this could involve us trading a player to the third team and draft picks being swapped as well. Jeez.

Edit** Now he says it's a "surprise team."

Schefter and NFLN reporting....I have no idea.

It sounds like another team's involved, but he's not sure how.

Could be someone trying to drive up the price, could be someone involved in a 3 way trade with KC and NE.
