The name fits again
Ran today for the first time in 2 years. I had ballooned to 262 (fat) and in August decided enough was enough. I started riding my bike (on a trainer) and walking & elliptical and eating better.
I pledged to run only after I broke the 200# mark. This AM I weighed 198.5 and ran 3 miles this PM. 63.5 pounds down and 28.5 to go! Feels good to be Runnercyclist again! |
Congrats! Start off easy so you don't injure yourself. 3 miles is very good for someone who hasnt done it in a while.

I plan on just running every third day and will stick to 3 miles for the next couple of weeks. Then I'll bump .5 mile for a couple and so on. I'd like to do some 10Ks again this summer and the the Charleston long run this fall (15 miles). |

Couch potato to 10k training program!
Oh and I stopped running for a couple months, got back on the treadmill last week, ran 3 miles felt good and then the next day the top of my foot hurt like hell and was swollen took me out another week before I stopped limping. Take it slow! |
