Broncos add two more defenders
Denver has been more active than anyone — and continues to be. It reached agreement Monday with former 49ers DT Ronnie Fields on a two-year deal worth $5 million. Fields will be reunited with his former head coach Mike Nolan, now Denver’s defensive coordinator.http://blogs.nfl.com/category/adam-s...ampaign=ec0005 This one was rumored last week, now it's official: ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - The Denver Broncos have signed linebacker Andra Davis as they continue to revamp their defense.http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9...LB-Andra-Davis |
Maybe it's just me, but Denver seems good at making insignificant free agent acquisitions. It goes back to signing the Browns defensive linemen.

All while putting a split between the HC and the star quarterback and probably still looking at a suspension from the league even though charges have been dropped against Marshall.

The Broncos are signing anyone with a pulse this offseason. As I mentioned in another thread, there's a chance it will pay off I guess. Bring in enough guys with mediocre talent and you might find a few gems.

I prefer this approach to the megamillions for a smaller group of players...
I think they have a few really nice upside guys in the mix now with solid starter ability and a few of them are just depth fodder. Nothing more, nothing less. |
I sure am glad we have orange around here to update us on all the Bronco news.

It's especially important since Broncos news is just about all you have to talk about here. How are Taco John and Woody Paige getting on these days, anyway? |
