No way!!
Watching NFL channel, and their doing the top SB catches, hardest hitters, best catches etc.
Most of them I don't agree with though Jack Lambert comes in at #9, on hardest hitters. LT at #2 ??????? Who the **** is Hardy brown at #5?? At least Jack Tatum made the top 10 (#6) AT #4 is Ronnie Lott. Ok, finally 1 I agree with, although I would put lott at either #1, or 2, no one could hit like him |

i agree with most but i dont know a lot of them so i cant judge.....

Thats it!
There's no ****en way Dick "Night Train" Lane makes #2 ahead of Lott, Tatum, and LT. Who's #1 Jeff George? On a side note, I never knew he got his nickname from a fear of flying. He'd board a train to where ever the team was playing that weekend after Sat practice. |

One of my all time favorite NFL films clips was an head coach (don't recall) yelling at an assistant..."Somebody has to block #51! Where's the blocker?" The asst. responded: "I don't know coach, I think Butkus ate him!" |
These shows crack me up! Lambert even listed is laughable he was one of the all time greats but was far from a knockout artist. I would list Tatum over Lott. That said Tatum was nowhere near the talent Lott was.
Butkus was a fearsome player who was relentless, once again far from a knockout artist. . Many people rate on overall ability and those listed were studs. Most of the greatest hitters were defensive backs mainly because when it was still legal to hit they were in a position to deliver. Hell Steve Atwater out hit most on that list. LT redefined the LB position but as far as delivering "knockout" hits he is outside the top ten IMO |

A true list would include Andre waters, chuck cecil, rodney Harrison. That said, they were also cheap shot artists. |
Damn, I was pumped and ready to come in with WAY only to find out I'm an hour late.
