Any ideas on how to make it work?

Thanks

What do you mean by "recognize"?

Sometimes Flash Player won't install correctly using the online installer they try and make you use. Did you try to download it manually and run it?

If you're a windows user, try this:

check options, then start uninstalling flash, if that doesn't work then uninstall firefox and reinstall.

I tried to install it manually, but that didn't work. I also tried (in Firefox) Tools, Options, Downloads, Action Options, then had Shockwave Flash objects to be opened by Shockwave Flash...no luck.

It works fine in IE, but not Firefox.

So it installed correctly but the flash file you're trying to play didn't work? Or what is it you're trying to do/open? That might give us a better idea.

When you check flash player, what does it say?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Flash 2x now. It works fine in IE, but it doesn't in Firefox. When I click your link in Firefox, it says that I am currently using version 8.0.22.0; with IE, I can play Version 10 material no problem.

Going to bed now, need the sleep. Thanks for the help.

You might try this in the morning.... http://news.cnet.com/8301-13554_3-99...?tag=mncol;txt

Just double checking to be sure, but if you have the noscript add on or something like that it will block the scripts that want to load your flash player and it will look like you don't have flash.

Thanks for the help. I followed a link on that site to here: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13554_3-99...?tag=mncol;txt

Where I was able to track down the particular .dll file. I then went in and changed the name and reinstalled flash and now it works.
