Possible Pre-Draft Press Conference today with Pioli/Haley?
 

I was listening to 610 a few minutes ago on my morning commute, and I thought they said there was going to be a pre-draft press conference today. But they didn't say anymore about it, so don't take this for gospel.

Just a heads up in case someone can fill in details for those of us without access to the coverage.

Blah Blah Blah....it will be boring and no new information at all will come out.

Yep, i heard that too. They said they wouldn't be carrying it live, but they would have "highlights", or "exceprts".

It should be riveting.

It will probably be boring as heck. But hey, I'm a Chiefs fan and anytime the front office has something to say, I kind of want to listen.

Also, doesn't a mini-camp thing start either today or tomorrow?

Pioli: The floor is now open to questions
Press: What are the chiefs plans
Pioli: We cannot discuss our plans at this point in time. Floor Closed. Press Conference over.

You're giving the KC media way too much credit. The real first question will be like "So how will the draft impact Larry Johnson's attendance at the next minicamp?".

So I'm guessing the "press conference" will entail Haley and Pioli staring straight ahead in stony silence for 20 minutes while the media members fidget awkwardly in their chairs.

Or Pioli walks to the podium and begins "I'm here to discuss our draft strategy and what players we're ta..." but begins to laugh hysterically mid-sentence before walking off.
