Pre-draft How many games will the Chiefs win in 2009?
I'm just wondering how much peoples minds change thru the off-season. I will post another thread after the draft to give people a chance to change their minds.

19-0

4-5 wins. I'm going to say 4 is most likely and 5 if we get lucky in a game.
|
my conservative estimate for KC's record is 6-10, and of course will be picking in the top 10 again next year.

A little early, Mr. acesn8s, but a good question, nonetheless. Some peeps call my system infallible. Personally, I just think of it as FAXiomatic.
Halfass good quarterback = 2 wins. Guys off street = 2 wins. Pioli magic = 2 wins. Haley twisting key player's nuts = 1 win. Haley punching out key player. = minus 2 wins. Suck schedule = minus 2 wins. No Gunther = 1 win. No TG in the house = minus 1 win. Funny ball bounce = 1 win. Not so funny ball bounce = minus 1 win. 3 and 13. FAX |

I say 5, if they're lucky. That's a tough schedule.

Wow this fan base is ..... Wow.

I think we go 7-9. I think a new attitude and better coaching alone gets us a couple more wins, maybe 3. And the overall talent will improve enough to win another 2.
|
5 wins.

I call 5 wins, enough to show improvement but with a brutal schedule they can only go so far. It's hard to fix 5 yrs worth of screw-ups in 1 offseason but I think they do enough to show they're on the right track.

No way this team is already much better than last year and the subtraction of ****er and Herm is HUGE. That alone would have gotten us 3 extra wins last year. Barring massive injuries 8-8 is quite realistic. We have the talent for a 6-10 or better team last year. The new regime will kick the malcontents asses and get them to work together and they are determined to win now.

Agreed...and we could make history and win a sucky division and make the playoffs with a losing record. LOL, now that would be hilarious. Sorry Tony G. |
