I am baby sitting my daughters English Bulldog this weekend

This dog really thinks it is human. Instructions went as follows...make sure you keep ice in her water she likes it that way.:spock: Put on her eye medicine and put in her ear drops twice a oh and give her these pills twice a day also. Be sure and give her a treat when you are done.:spock: Oh and take her for a walk three times a day. Dont let her get too hot she can not handle the heat. If you have to go anywhere make sure if you take her that you do not leave her in the car even at a Quik Trip store, people steal these type of dogs all the time :hmmm:(I am certain that if someone steals this thing they will hunt me down and give it back)

Anyway she dropped it off thursday night everything goes pretty smooth and the other half just fawns over her. Well bed time comes and it becomes clear this frigging dog is set on sleeping with us! A stand off begins with the dog winning.:cuss: I have never in my life known a dog that snores well I do now.:#

Friday I drive across town to check on our "grand dog" and yes there is trash spread through out the house along with pillows and clothes. I clean up and haul ass back to work.:cuss: Now the other half is out of town to vist her dad and it is me and the grand dog. It is going to be a long weekend.:shake:

See, this is what you get for being a raiderfan. If you cheer the CHIEFS your snoring bulldog will instantly turn into Lassie and mix you a dry martini, then do your taxes.

I'm just saying.

Are you serious:harumph:.....no I will stick it out the dog is no worse than putting up with batty Al the last handful of years I can take it for a weekend :shake:

My ex wants me to watch the dog along with kids when she goes away for a couple of weekends.
I was a "nice guy" and said yes. Of course the kids are my joy so that's no problem. But a dog is a pain in the ass to take care of.
I need to tell her no.

I like my Girl friend's English Bulldog. I watch it, dog will just chill out. Very obedient, I rarely lift a finger. Quite a loving, and easy to take care of dog. The one your watching has probably been treated like a premadonna.

This one is much the same way. It sleeps a lot. It is not the dogs fault it needs the medicine. The sleeping on the bed is a major problem. And the trashing the place may have been a new place freak out thing, nothing was ruined she just carried the things all over the place. she will shake, sit and all the normal tricks. While on walks she minds very well.

English Bullies are sweet aren't they?

I never want a breed of dog that is so far inbred throughout its history that it now cannot live without modern mans inventions.

Except a great dane, I want one of those... I just have to get its stomach sewn to its insides so it wont spin, and have its heart checked yearly or possibly more often....

She had Oakley (the dogs name) fixed and I ask why? for what these dogs go for you should breed her at least once. After she told me what they have to go through and the fatality issue while giving birth I told her I am stunned this breed still in existence. That said I took her to the park and to Petco to gets some treats and over all had a good time today.

Chiefs fans mourned the loss of Lamar Hunt. Raider fans will throw a ****ing ticker tape parade the day Al dies.

I feel for you.
In November of last year my wife and I adopted two puppies 12 weeks and 14 weeks.

She then left for the orient for 2 weeks.

It was hell but it was worth it. When she came back I had taught them several tricks.

You should teach the bulldog a fun trick.

Not true most will just wish he retired before it slipped away. To compare what Al gave Raider fans and what Lamar gave Chief fans is lopsided to say the least. Al lost his mind, Lamar never gave a shit other that putiing asses in seats.

She already knows several tricks. There has been some rough spots but the spoiled shit is winning me over (hense the 30 bucks at Petco today after the park walk) :)

I have an American Bulldog...love him to death.

I've always wanted an English though, still plan on getting one, they're just so outrageous to buy though.

It'd be easier for you to babysit me. I just need a pizza and NFL Network. And maybe a stomach rub from your wife.
