its a sentry plant...cousin of mine got poked in the eye by one, and almost lost his vision in that eye. apparently they are mildy poisonous...(unless it sticks you in the eye!)

Spikey Head Skinny Pole Plant, Mr. Dinny Blues. A member of the genus, Spikus Headicae Skinnyphyta Poleium. They grow wild in Eastern Europe. Usually outside disco clubs.
