Acoustic guitars for kids????
My 7 yo daughter will be starting guitar lessons this fall. The only recommendation I have heard is that Carlo Robelli makes some nice 3/4 size guitars that are decent quality; but that's all I've heard. What say you, CP guitarists? Is that the guitar to get or do you have any better ideas?

Personally, I would not bother spending a lot of money on a guitar for a 7 year old. They will abuse it, believe me. I would go with just a cheap-o one to start.

Or perhaps something kid sized.

Somehow I read that as "autistic guitars for kids".
I'm brain-damaged. |
sooooo at jerry's bait shop on wednsdays they have open mic night. I sometimes play drums, or guitar, there is an 9 year old playing led zep and SRV. Amazing. I stopped going obvouisly because he is going to pull more vulva than i can dream about. Good to see the blues doing alive and well. Oh and a black 10 year old girl sang Texas Flood by SRV with him while a young dude played drums. Good to know when I am dead and gone we still have some guys out there DOIN' WORK

My daughter has a yellow First Act from Toys R Us
It is INCREDIBLY easy to play and stays tuned pretty good...I can play that one better than my own Action is easy on their little fingers too. |
