Up date on mom
 

I wish I had good news, but I don't.

Dad called and spoke with the wife last night,(I was in an out of service area) before he went home himself and got some sleep.

Mom was taken to the hospital by ambulance Friday night after having 2 seizures.
Reports show the cancer is now (and has been for a while) in her brain. She took another seizure at the hospital, but stabilized.
Haven't heard much more than that, even dad figures mom won't be going back home now.

Apparently mom had told her doctor NOT to tell her "all" the nitty grity, the doc finally told dad what was really going on. 2 tumers in her brain, with 2 more growing.

Dad kinda figured it out a few weeks ago when she started losing her balance, and having trouble forming sentences while talking.
with the meds she's on now, I don't think she even knows whats going on.


It's funny how we spend our lifetimes building the foundation of what will be our future on those who we know at some point in our life will no longer be around. (Thank you FAX just took me a week or so to figure that one out :thumb: )

I've pissed away more lifetime than most people will ever know have been on top, and fell so far back down I tried to kill my self with the way I was going.
Lord know's I've made my share of mistakes, and have the scares to show for it but damn am I glad now I went home to try and make peace with my folks last Jan.

You're an okay guy for an Al Davis fan and an Eskimo, OH. You keep fighting the good fight. Mommas leave us and then we have a new momma and kiddos for whom to provide. Such is the circle of life. I pray that she'll have a pain-free and quick passing.

Sorry to hear the news, I have lost both my parents it is tough. I was tight with my mom and made peace with my dad a couple of years before he passed. Nothing can be said but the old "keep your chin up"
