The Royals are screwed inside and out!
 

So, as if the actual team didn't have problems...the internal operations seem to be suffering as well.

Today I get a letter in the mail from the Royals that says:

To thank you as a season ticket holder we have enclosed eight (8) passes to the Stadium Club.

That's pretty good except they gave me 4 and not 8. I thought maybe we get 2 in per pass? Nope..the pass states clearly on it..."this pass is good for 1 admission...."

Not that it matters cause I will not use them I am sure....but damn, the club just simply can't get shit right this year for nothing.

PM me your address and I will mail them off too you. There is a date range you have to use them and you can't use them for the Cards games.

So they gave you free stuff and you're pissed because it's not enough free stuff?

I know, I know some secretary or intern typed the number 8 instead of 4 and that reflects to a poorly run franchise.

I'll stick them in the mail tonight. Here are the details:

Only good for the month of June....
Can't be used June 19-21
If you want to make reservations you will have to let me know cause I think I have to make them.

I will send this sheet along with the passes.

Or the properly typed 8 and only stuck in 4....which is most likely. This is the same team that sent me my re-up form for my tickets with a price tag but didn't tell me where my seats were.

So, is it progress that it took roughly a month longer than usual for the collapse?

Well, well, well. So much for the typo. I got a letter in the mail with 4 more passes to the Stadium Club today saying "exluded in my letter with 8 passes were 4 of the passes".

Too bad we can't go back and add runs on after the fact.


Also got a call from my Lancer yesterday and seems there are a ton of complaints coming in from season ticket holders. Primarily about the concessions and the way you have to walk all over the place just to get the food you want. I'm supposed to get a call from a team representative but not sure that will be of any worth. Really they need to just get the concessions together is the only complaint. If they would have offered the food they are offering this year but kept the same convenience as last year it would be much better. I shouldn't have to walk past 5 concession stands for a hot dog off the grill cause I don't want one that has been sitting under a warming lamp.
