Sprint Center Parking.

I am going to attend my first event there on Sunday. Any tips on parking would be appreciated.

I don't know if I've ever gone down to P&L when an event is going on at the same time but the parking garage's surrounding P&L always seem to have space when I'm down there. Of course that might be way different during a sprint center event.

To insure parking you could get there 2 or 3 hours early and just spend some time in P&L and then head over to the Sprint Center. Parking is only $5 in the parking garages unless the price goes up during an event.

Leave your car unlocked, that way they won't do any additional damage when they steal your stereo.

There are plenty of garages, including the H&R Block building.... or just drive north a few blocks on Grand, Main, or Walnut, and park on the street for free.

But, I'm sure someone will be along shortly to say that if you park on the street, you risk having your car stolen or shot at in the crime-riddled downtown area.

Just pay the fee at the underground hotel garage. 1.5 blocks away from the entrance. Split 4 ways it was a steal.

Are the seats at the Sprint Center really as close to each other as I've been told?

Thanks for the tips.

$2 dollar weekend parking in the Cosentino's garage on 13th and Main/Walnut, depending which road you are on.

Leave it overnight and its 15 bucks.

I always park on the street on the other side of the highway, decent lighting and never had any problems since open.. It is free and only a 5min walk..
