LJ and Charles to death. Maybe try and hit some play action and hope you can score a few TD's. That is the best this offense can do. Forget that deep passing game he brought from AZ. No way in hell he's got the line to run it. Not even remotely close to having it either.

It was a play pass after 2 runs to start the game that Cassel went down on.

He may not have the line to run it, but Bowe could have a pro bowl year, they need to wear his hands out. Of course, when he's quadruple teamed each game, it won't be easy LOL

The WRs that make the team will most def have to block.

Brock 08-30-2009 10:12 AM

They're not very good at run, run, running, either.

DaneMcCloud 08-30-2009 10:14 AM

How are they going to run? FcIntosh can't seal the outside. Goff can't block the inside. And Niswanger is too busy getting his arms pinned to his sides by opposing defensive lineman to block, period.

they are really lacking explosiveness

And this why I don't get when people go apeshit when someone suggests picking up an OG early in the draft. The OL is the engine of the offense, and one can't get anything accomplished. The QB and RBs will be in bodybags without a good OL.

I'll say this - if we can run against Seattle, we will be able to run against a lot of teams. Seattle has a good stout front. They haven't been run on this preseason until last night.

salame 08-30-2009 11:22 AM

I think the problem isn't taking them in the first round it's just taking them in the top 5
BUT
I think the Chiefs just need to draft by need like they did this year and it will be all good
But I really hope they get a WR first
and focus both 2nd round picks on the o-line

You don't get it because you are too ****ing hardheaded and obssesive to get it.

It's been talked about a ****ing thousand times, but your dumb ass never even remotely considers anything but your ****ing own dumbass obsessions.

They are going to have to try anyway. We can't let our QB's be sitting ducks. They need to start doing draw plays, toss plays and reverses or we will not move the ball or have a QB left standing. Gailey and Haley had better start getting creative.

So your saying let Gaily reinstall the spread.;)

At least the QB will know before the snap with no uncertainty that he'll be running for his life.
