Chiefs Giants Game

I'm coming down in early October for the Giants game and bringing a co-worker who is a big Giants fan. He's a good guy, but loves to joke around with opposing fans. Here's the deal, he is planning on wearing a Chiefs Jersey featuring the name of a Chiefs kicker who is Taboo to discuss around here. I've told him he is setting himself up for an ass whipping but he doesn't buy it. Any advice any fellow planeteers care to offer him?

LOL, the fans will probably be to demoralized to kick his ass considering what will happen in that game...

I think people will think it's pretty funny.

is the game in NYC?

Why the hell would a NYG's fan try to rub something like that in? Sounds to me like your coworker is just a douche bag. I could understand if he was a rival fan or a Colts fan but as a Giants fan there is really no reason for it. He'll learn it was a stupid move by about halftime and I won't feel sorry for him one bit.

I wouldn't, but I can't speak for every drunk. It's not like we've got a union or anything...

The troublemaker might get hurt.

lol, Like me wearing a Marcus Allen Jersey in Oakland back in 98. I learned a few things from that game. One is, cover up in the hallways of the stadium. Dont show your Chiefs gear until your in your seat. lol Take alot of friends to help you, if people try to jump you.

Almost got into quite a few fights. People act a fool when they are liquored up.

Tell him to wear an Elvis Grbac jersey instead.

I won't either. I have seen BAD things happen at Arrowhead to opposing fans though. I'm sure it's the same way in every city. If you don't act like an asshole you should be ok.

I've seen a guy get rocked in the beak over a Todd Blackledge comment.

I'd watch out if I were him.
