I think there is a spy hole in my bathroom...need advice

So I'm taking a shit and I'm looking straight ahead and I see a pinhole, and I'm like, wtf? So I examine the wall around it and I don't see any weird paint issues or any patch job.

I decide that I want to check the wall thats behind the pinhole, which is in my bedroom closet, and low and behold there is a nifty little patch-job.

Now I'm trying to decide whether or not to hammer out the wall in my closet. Theres been a lot of commotion around the hole so if there is a camera, the landlord is going to know as soon as he reviews the tape.

What do you think I should do?

Is there any way for me to know if there is a camera in there without busting open the wall?

Chieftain58 08-31-2009 11:38 PM

quit wacking it

Buck 08-31-2009 11:39 PM

Idiot I've never whacked it in there.

Who would want to record you taking a shit ?

Rain Man 08-31-2009 11:41 PM

Get a friend, and act out a murder in front of the pinhole.

Buck 08-31-2009 11:42 PM

They wouldn't want me taking a shit, but probably put it there in case girls pee. Plenty of girls have peed in said bathroom.

booger 08-31-2009 11:43 PM

get a putty knife and poop spackle it.

All it takes is a dab of spackle. If the hole really is just a pinhole, you could even use toothpaste. Fill in the hole and see what happens.

I don't have time for that. We all are going to work tomorrow so if there is a camera, the landlord will break into our house and steal it tomorrow.

Just busted open the wall....on the wrong side of the stud...can't determine if I want to put a second hole in my wall.

ChiefJustice 09-01-2009 12:04 AM

It's probably nothing...I wouldn't worry about it.
