Do we have any KC Area Planeteers that would be willing to help CrazyHorse?

We need someone in the KC Area who will be willing to connect a Slingbox to their cable so that CrazyHorse can watch all the Chiefs games from his hotel room in St. Louis.

The slingbox is already taken care of, he just needs someone to volunteer to do this. Preferably someone who will be home every Sunday so he can watch the Chiefs every week.

Thanks

Mods, please sticky.

I wouldn't have a problem doing it, and I'm out of the blackout area. The only problems is our local affiliate will stop showing the games later in the season if we're really bad.

give me the equipment and I will do it....... I am within the blackout area.... but I can camcorder the shit from my seats...... hope he doesnt mind foul language..... or the occasional Zooming in on breasts and mullets...

Oh, and sometimes we get ****ed on the FOX games as well.

You have no idea...last year a couple Chiefs radio broadcasts were pre-empted by Creighton Bluejay basketball games.

It's not a huge hassle to set it up, but you have to be at least a little tech savvy to get it running. Whoever is interested, shoot me a PM with your address and I'll get the box on its way.

I am willing as well.

DirecTV SuperFan...

Customers can stream ALL games via the internet. Not sure of the quality, but I'd bet this would be a much simpler method. Only issue would be the concern of lending out your username/password as it is the same account used to make payments/modifications/etc. on your account.

I have the package, so if there are problems with the Slingbox route, let me know. (Not in the blackout region)

I have this same problem

CrazyHorse 09-06-2009 06:59 AM

Unless there is a setback of some sort, I should be going home in a month.

So if you think you can do it that long, I can watch from home after that.

You guys just let me know what I have to do,or what I need.
