FFL Champs or Your Team?

Not sure if any of you caught this (I think it was just local S.Cal ESPN radio this afternoon), but Andrew Siciliano and Mychal Thompson were doing a segment that I found really interesting.

If you could win your FFL championship or have your favorite team win the Super Bowl, which would you choose, assuming the prize for your FFL Title is $1,000?

If you chose your team, what dollar amount prize would have to be there for you to take the money? Siciliano said he would rather have the Browns win the Super Bowl than have $100,000.

I would take a Chiefs Super Bowl win over $1,000. I'd probably set my price at $5,000. How about you?

Buck 09-10-2009 03:38 PM

Super Bowl.

My price, $50,000.

RedDread 09-10-2009 03:38 PM

I'd take a Chiefs superbowl over $1,000. I might take it over $5,000, but that would be really tough.

POND_OF_RED 09-10-2009 03:41 PM

Anyway I can split it in half to just have $500 and one playoff victory?

Nzoner 09-10-2009 03:43 PM

I've already won $1000 playing FF so no thanks, now if I could win my Fanball Challenge that pays $20,000 to the winner,it'd be a different story.

ill take the grand one year and the chiefs the next year :)

Demonpenz 09-10-2009 03:49 PM

the feeling of your team winning is far greater than a 1000 dollars that you will blow on shit you don't need anyway

Brock 09-10-2009 04:30 PM

I'd probably require 7500 dollars. Tax free.

Buck 09-10-2009 04:33 PM

Man I thought you guys were loyal to your team.

CMD 09-10-2009 04:33 PM

Super Bowl. Although an extra $1000 would be nice...

I don't believe that 50,000 dollars is your price.

kstater 09-10-2009 04:35 PM

1k? SB every time

100k? We'll talk.

Iowanian 09-10-2009 04:37 PM

I'll sell "shares" of my options for $50, and I'll make way, way more than $1k while getting to watch the Chiefs in the SB.

Win-Win.

Bill Lundberg 09-10-2009 04:38 PM

Team everytime

RJ 09-10-2009 04:40 PM

Easy question. I've won a few FF championships but I haven't seen a Chiefs SB win since I was 11. Gimme the Chiefs.
