these chiefs are gonna be great

i was unsure about pioli/haley, i liked their approach because i was so sick of seeing the hermification of my team, it dragged me down, i'm more fired up for the future now than i ever have been.. thats all it took, one game, they couldn't help it that they aren't as good as the other guys, they didn't bend over.. i'm pretty sure of it now, this teams gonna own, maybe sooner rather than later.

funny side story, a couple months ago, my roommate (directv satellite boy) says to me, "do you know who scott pioli is?", to which i said slowly, "yeeeessssss, the chiefs new general manager", "oh dur dur i put directv in his house today, i had no idea who he was but hes rich as ****"

what a ****ing moron...

This fan base is so ready to embrace this team again and get Arrowhead rocking, that we're ****ing pumped after getting owned in every aspect of the game.

The fact that we didn't quit in the first ****ing week of the season and the players gave a great effort throughout is enough. In some ways, it's sad that our expectations are so low.

When this team is actually good, Arrowhead is going to be ****ing sick.

Just another sign of Pioli fail. I bet Chris Polian would've ordered digital cable.

Agreed. Finally nice to see NFL football being played after a 3 year absences from Arrowhead...

During the game thread people were cracking jokes, saying, "If you only saw the crawl on ESPN, you'd think this game was close..."

Let's ignore all the statistical evidence. It's like Dayton Moore has opened a host of accounts.

Lets just piss on everything and quit now, should we just forfiet because you want to see fail everywhere, while everyone else see's a little improvement and reasons to be excited about the future?

Be excited. Be pissed. Be whatever. I could care less.

I'm simply a bit surprised by the exuberance expressed after an overall piss-poor performance.

It was a better performance than Faith Hill utterly destroying a Joan Jett song, and that's what I'm going with. :p

Maybe I'm wrong, but I noticed a more excited Chiefs Planet forum this morning compared to last year ... despite all the criticism. To me, it's quite clear that Haley can handle coaching this team. He may not have the talent he needs, but I thought he did a pretty good job today.

I hate to say it but if Herm had coached this team to a 14 point loss (after the defense set them up for a short TD and the special teams scored a TD) after leading the Ravens on the road, everyone would be calling for his head.

I have high hopes for Haley but this team is awful.
