Nick and Jake's Brunch
 

Was up in KC this weekend. Ate Bristol's last night (very good) and hit Nick and Jake's this morning for brunch. That was one rocking brunch.

That is all. I guess the point is that I would recommend saving your money and heading to Nick and Jake's on Sunday morning instead of Arrowhead.

The reader's poll section of the The Pitch's (KC weekly alt-paper) 2009 Best Of issue only placed Nick & Jake's as the 9th best brunch in the city.

That poll is a little skewed.... the readership is mostly youthful downtown/midtown dwellers.

The older people in JoCo who have the money to go out to brunch every week probably read it a lot less and therefore didn't participate in the poll.

Very true about The Pitch's typical readership. At the same time I've never known the JoCo set to be very food savvy.
