Latest Bill ORT - Jamon Meredith
or so sayeth the "today" tweets on CBS sportsline.
Jauron didn't say he will start, but he was taking reps there today. Always fun to see the second guessing become second "what he actually looks like on the field in a real NFL game." What concerns me is that Jamon is actually smart. Every other player from South Carolina I know of has been outed for being really dumb on the Wonderlic test... because if you want to find smart football players in the SEC, you can check out Vanderbilt and .................... well................. um, just Vandy. |
I sense a meltdown coming on.
|
Yeah, but he was too old to take a chance on....wait.
He was too expensive....crap. He didn't play for Chicago, Arizona, Miami or NE and therefore he must suck. There we go! This is exactly the kind of guy our hack-ass, coat-tail riding GM should've gone after instead of giving away draft picks...MFING DRAFT PICKS....for Ndukwe. But nope, since we evidently only have interest in picking up guys we're 'familiar with' nevermind the fact that they 'suck at playing football', Meredith never got a look. Jesus tits this front office pisses me off. |

In the end, Meredith could have been had the first week for nothing, just a waiver wire claim. We'll see. Having watched him at South Carolina, and being really impressed with him as a Soph, I can't help but believe there is something "radioactive" about him that we don't see. He is just too talented an athlete for the NFL to do what it did to him. But then, the Bills have TO... |
they have their starting RT for a decade....look for their running game to explode

Is that Jamon's photo flashing by?? Certainly, if there are really no character/desire/work ethic/injury issues, Jamon deserved to be no later than a Second Rounder. The NFL, every team knew who this guy was, and passed for four rounds, teams with REAL NEED at OT. Something scared them off, and it wasn't his play at the Shrine Game, because he looked really good there, the last time he took the field before the Draft. |

I was screaming for us to draft this guy and no one would listen to me. I was on the Jamon train before anyone here. I said, "if we draft this guy in the 5th, he'll be our starting Rt for a decade, if not, Pioli is a Nazi." |
I'll wait to see how he looks in a few games before I melt down (again).
I did have him on my radar in the draft as a fifth rounder, with Fenuki Topou in the fourth. I had Colin Brown on my radar as.......as........... Wait, who the hell was Colin Brown? Actually, I think Brown has a future..........as a guard. |

I remember you saying that. |

that's actually good to hear as i figured he would remain a wtf pick... |

They both were able to knock their defenders on their asses, and get into the second level as run blockers, and moved pretty well in space. They also looked solid in pass protect. |
HOF lock. Print em.
|
No CP GMs would have been able to call this move.
Oh, wait... |

At the end of each round we'll allow a "who would you have picked" poll. Majority wins. I absolutely guarantee that the collective wisdom of CP outdoes the actual draft. The CP GMs would've outdone the last 10 years of Carl Peterson and to this point I have no doubt they would've absolutely obliterated this abortion of an offseason putforth by The Football Messiah. |
