"Just heard on WQAM that the Dolphins and Chiefs are close to a deal that would send Dwayne Bowe, and Glenn Dorsey to Miami for 3 undisclosed draft pics. I also heard that Miami and Carolina are also in talks to send WR Steve Smith to Miami, but Miami it waiting to see which deal will better serve the team. So, expect one of these deals to be announced sometime today before the deadline."

If, and I stress IF, this is true, it had better be for no less than their first and second next year, and their first in 2011.

That being said, no way do I think this happens.

Who knows what this guy actually heard or what the station's basis is.

Getting rid of Bowe? Our best offensive weapon when we have little to no talent on offense? Did anyone learn anything from the Jared Allen trade? YOU DONT TRADE AWAY YOUR GOOD YOUNG PLAYERS and bank on the fact that you MIGHT hit on your draft pick you receive in return.

I would actually be receptive if Ted Ginn was involved as compensation for Bowe. Bowe fits their scheme of hard nosed 10 yards at a time, and we need a Kick returner/Wideout like Ginn....

I'm sorry, but I think this is great if true.

Dorsey does not fit our needs at all, as he is not a 3-4 lineman, and Bowe is inconsistant as a WR. Give us a few high end picks that will let Piolli and Haley get their guys in here, and away we go.

If we do this I guess we may as well just forfeit the rest of games, We are having a hard enough time competing in this league now.

I don't really give a sh*t who leaves, who we get in return etc.

I just want to win a super bowl before I die.
