This is a new low: 8-year olds at school saying our team sucks
 

So, I am sitting with my kids at breakfast this morning like we usually do each morning, and somewhere between the orange juice and the Cheerios my 7 year-old says, "Aiden and Brandon said the Chiefs suck, dad."

I reply, "who?"

She repeats, "Aiden and Brandon. They say you lose very game you play."

First thought: WTF?!?!?!? 8 YEAR OLDS TRASH TALKING MY TEAM...IN CALIFORNIA!?!?!?!

I say, "Not true, we beat the Redskins."

she says, "That's only one game"

At this point I cannot believe my daughter has become a CP troll in my own house! So I say, "Are they Raider fans?"

"No, they were just talking football at recess."

OMG. This is something I was completely unprepared for. Well, the Halloween carnival is Friday and I will be there in my Cassel Jersey and Chiefs hat ready to PWN. I will set the record straight! We only suck FOR NOW. hear that??@?!?! We only suck FOR NOW.

lol, my nephew is 11 now, but for a few years he's been calling me every week saying ytour team sucks they lost again. He's a raiders fan, but hey, they have had more success this decade then us. I gots nothing to come back at him with but, ya, my team sucks.

i teach 5th grade, and i have to hear about it every monday morning. dozens of kids come up to me and tell me the chiefs lost and they suck, as if i don't already know.
