That's the natural flight of a ball hit that way - the bat imparts spin on the ball, causing it to curve. Ever watched baseball?

I wouldn't say the curve of the ball would indicate it being fake. Looked like a pretty natural arc and the ball would likely have a lot of side rotation to go that way from coming off of a bat.

I remember in highschool one of our point guards that was a lefty that when we were messing around and shooting from halfcourt he shots always had a hell of a right hook to them, just the way he shot when shooting from that far away. Remembering how far his shot would curve I would completely believe a ball could move like that coming off a bat.

Might be fake, but I wouldn't say that from the ball curving.

saw this on like 20/20 or 60 minutes but this is ALL real. Only takes the guy a few times to make ANY basket. Unreal.

That's some cool stuff too. To tell ya the truth I don't know why I'm still amazed when I see cool basketball shots anymore these days. I've seen all kinds of crazy youtube basketball trickshot videos shots but yet I'm still continually amazed by some of them.

A) I agree, it's fake. In order to hit a ball with that kind of mass that far, that hitter would've had to be swinging a chunk of solid iron and have a Ruthian power swing.

B) A ball hit that hard from a LH hitter would naturally slice back to the hitters left. To get that kind of lift it would require that you hack down on the front half of the ball to generate backspin. If it were real, that's exactly what the ball would do and exactly what a liner generally does do in a baseball game.

So I agree that it's fake, but not for the reason you mentioned.
