Happy NYE and my wish for a great 2010
 

2009 was hard for a great many of us.

I and my family saw our share of issues but on the cusp of a new year, things seem to be looking better and better.


1. My health is improving, I gained 4 lbs which made my GI doc very happy yesterday

2. My daughter is back in our home, completed her first semester of nursing college with all A's and I think I have met my future son-in-law. They are both very smitten and he is so wonderful with her it warms my heart. They met at college and are both very driven to get their degrees so they can have a great life. He looks and treats her as if she is the only person in the universe. He even told my mom that he was thankful for her because she had me and then I had Holli (worded much better than that) That was the first time he had met her. She has grown up and become very focused. She had thought about the military, and then had a scholarship for Engineering she decided not to use and went to nursing school instead which had always been her first choice.

3. My health scare has brought my husband and I closer together than ever, he doesn't drink hardly at all now and we are on a quest for better health for me and lower weight for him and we are doing it together.

4. The bum in the basement has had a job for 4 months now, and will be out of our home by the end of Jan!


I am looking forward to a quiet 2010 that brings joy and happiness to all of my friends and family.
