Let's not forget that Charles didn't help himself by fumbling everything under the sun early in the year.

He fumbled once the first 8 games, and three times after becoming the starter.

Then I'm remembering from the offseason, because I know at one point there was a lot of talk about how he was having trouble hanging onto the ball. I know he's historically had a fumbling problem. Maybe the Giants game where he dropped the opening kickoff has just stuck in my head.
