Fescoe on the Radio
 

Glad to hear Fescoe this morning on 610. At least it gives me reason to flip back and forth in the morning instead of having to stay on 810 because of that dill hole Twibell.

Definite upgrade over Twibell, but the mouth hugging of Waters by him forced me to listen to St. John and Herm.

Fescoe has to be one of the all-time worst radio sports talk hosts I have ever heard. In general 610 is pathetic, he just accentuates that point.

I'd rather listen to strippers talk about crotch itch.

IIRC, he basically took a better position in St. Louis (maybe an afternoon slot?) and then promptly got demoted to beat reporter for the Cardinals. Now, he's back in KC, covering a bad baseball team, a bad football team, for a bad station. IMO, this isn't any kind of upgrade over Twibell. It's a lateral move, at best.

I'm biased though because I've met Fescoe on a few different occasions, and he's a complete tool.

I play a game with 610. Anytime Twibell mentions "golf" I punch out. Longest I usually have to listen to him is about two minutes.

Did Twibell quit or get fired? I was surprised to hear Fescoe on 610 all of the sudden.

Didn't renew his contract because he is starting a golf company with some magic putter as the main thing they are promoting. I really don't care.

That Kietzmann cat is great. I really enjoy when Kietz and Jack Harry get on the air at the same time. Quality.
