Andy Griffith's Date on TVland
He's on a first date, and he's taking her "crow shooting".
Little does he know that she's a champion skeet shooter, but I'm still surprised that his idea for a first date was to take her shooting crows. |
It makes me happy that he is still alive and doing things.
Crow hunting rocks. No, I don't talk like Andy.
Barney screwed up and made her mad at him. Now Andy's inviting her on a second date, which is a skeet shooting contest. Unbeknownst to him, she has entered the contest herself to compete against him.
Crow hunting first then he's going to "Mount" Pilot.
Spoiler alert: she won the skeet shooting contest and Andy came in second. She then gave Andy a piece of her mind about the stuff that Barney told her. Andy has now made the classic mistake of being more attracted to her after she chewed him out. I hope he doesn't marry her, or he's going to end up drinking in his patrol car at night as he makes extra patrols just to stay away from her.
Barney almost accidentally shot himself by getting his gun caught in his holster. As opposed to a suspension and investigation, everybody just laughed.
Second spoiler alert -In the next episode Barney sneaks into her apartment and strangles her because he's jealous of her attentions to Andy. It's the only mystery that ever goes unsolved in Mayberry.
If you can't whistle the entire opening credit whistle theme you're not a true American. |
Andy and GoChiefs should swap dating war stories.
But...what about Otis?
or Earnest T Bass?
Or Floyd, the ghey barber? :D
